Sally Hansen & China Glaze Water Marble

This is my favorite manicure I’ve done for a long time. It came out pretty good considering I am a little out of practice water marbling. You be the judge of the results. I used Sally Hansen’s Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue and Mellow Yellow along with China Glaze’s Four Leaf Clover and Winter Berry. I was going for a rainbow effect and it looks to me more like tye dye, but I am fine with that. On with the photos!

I got a lot of compliments on this manicure when I was out in the world. It was fun to have people looking at my nails. I should have and will take a picture of the controlled mess it takes to get this kind of results, I use masking tape when marbling, I find it’s easier for me to take off then say scotch tape. I had a nice sized pile of toilet paper, used polish covered masking tape and toothpicks! It was really cool.

I am going to be getting into Konad nail art stamping soon, so I am looking forward to that, I plan on purchasing my supplies in the next week or two. I am most likely getting 7 plates and the longer double sided stamper/scraper set, although from what I’ve read it’s better to use an expired gift card since it won’t scratch the image plates as badly, but I’ll report on my experience with doing this after I get my stuff in the mail. I am really excited about finally taking the plunge, so I am sure I will have a lot of cool looking nail art for you in the months to come.

I hope you like the water marble I did for this manicure, I have to say as much fun as it was to do this I will be doing more of it sooner rather than later. Thank you for reading and checking out my photos, I bid you happy polishing!

  1. Yes, yes! I remember this marble had to grow on you before you liked it. I still think it's awesome!

    1. Thanks! Yeah, it wasn't love at first marble on this one. LOL! It did grow on me after cleanup and top coat though. Thanks for following my blog and for the lovely comment, your water marbles are so cool! I hope I can get as good at it and stamping as you are! :D

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your feedback!
