While I was getting my wheelchair out I caught my middle nail of my left hand on the trunk, so I knew I had injured the nail. When I got home I had to cut the rest of them down. Oh well they will grow back. Also I bought a Layla holographic polish, the pretty purple one, Ultra Violet, and can’t wait for it to get here. If the tracking is to be trusted it will be here Monday. So we’ll see.
I have a couple of photographs of them shorter now, one is of a stamping I did but because I was in a hurry I didn’t want to redo them a third time. I started off stamping with Fashion Addict, the pretty purple holographic from Color Club, but it was too light, so I went with Konad Special White and used plate 206 of Bundle Monster. The middle finger is not my best work, but the index and others looked great.
I realized after I trimmed them, that I did my index a little too short, so that’s a little disappointing, just goes to show you shouldn’t cut them and file them when you’re upset from a recent break. My mother is getting me the Salon Express kit as a gift when we get together this weekend and I am looking forward to getting it. There are some designs they have I want to test out, like the turtle and the hearts. I won’t be posting pictures of the plates as I know others have done that and my camera is not the best. But I will review the kit for you. In the meantime here is a video I wanted to share of Mysimplelittlepleasures, I love her videos, doing a review on the Salon Express kit:
Her video is really why I want to get this kit, I am getting mine from CVS as I have a $3 extra bucks receipt that will bring the cost down to $7. I plan on using my konad scraper and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes with it as I saw from her video that the Salon Express scraper isn’t the best. But the real piece I wanted the most was the stamper, I wanted to find a white tipped stamper so I could stamp with Rapid Red, a Sally Hansen Insta-Dri that I used already for stamping. I plan on eventually getting a plastic konad scraper from Wowsocool, on that page I linked to you can see the plastic scrapers.
That’s about I have for you today. I appreciate you taking time to check out my blog, happy polishing!
