Sally’s and Sally Hansen Polish Hauls

I haven’t done one of these kind of posts for awhile, and since I just got into stamping and have bought a fair number of Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri’s I thought it would be a great time to share the hauls I’ve done this month. These were separate hauls of course, but I thought it would be easier to lump them together into two photographs, with the Sally’s Beauty Supply hauls in one photograph and my CVS, Walgreen’s, Walmart and Winn Dixie hauls for Sally Hansen Insta-Dri’s in another.

I picked up Instant Artificials, (though they don't all have clearance sticker, these all were discounted polishes) Twilight, Shining Star, FingerPaints Red Crackle, Blonde Bombshell, Some Like It Haute, Skyscraper, Iron Cross 360, Poinsettia and Champagne Bubbles. I also picked up two pairs of their Beauty Secrets Cotton Moisturizing gloves and love them! They are the best gloves I’ve purchased, and I know before I have raved about the Dollar Tree ones, but those tend to cut off my circulation a bit, so I was thrilled to discover that these were looser and worked perfectly with Lansinoh and my Vitamin E hand cream. Next up are the Insta-Dri’s I’ve picked up for stamping.

First up is Rapid Red, Wined Up, Pronto Purple, Presto Pink, Gone Grey, Spring Mint, Co-Bolt Blue, Whirlwind White, Night Flight, Lightening, Silver Sweep and the top coat, Clearly Quick. I already had Wined Up, but I thought I’d include it in the picture because it’s just a gorgeous red and it was the only one I had before. I think these wear really well when you pair them with a nice base coat and good top coat. I had trouble finding Whirlwind White and Night Flight, but managed to find them at my local Winn Dixie grocery store. I don’t know if they’ve been discontinued or what, but CVS, Walgreen’s and Walmart all didn’t have them in stock.

I also picked up two of the China Glaze Magnetix polishes, but I forgot to grab them and include them in the photograph. I got Pull Me Close and Drawn to You, along with a free magnet. It’s probably going to be awhile before I try either of them though, because I am in no hurry to mess around with a magnet and the polishes. Maybe this summer I’ll try one of them. I have so many untried polishes calling to me, I want to go through some of them, like my other Hunger Games polishes from China Glaze, and Bubbly Bombshell.

I am glad I finally gave in and got into stamping. I haven’t ever had as much fun with polish as I have been with my stamping supplies and my new Insta-Dri’s. It’s not easy, but it’s worth the time practicing to work on mastering the technique. Having the right tools helps a lot too. I really love my Bundle Monster plates, and my Konad polishes, but I think the Insta-Dri’s work just as well. I’m not sure all the ones I have work, I’ve posted every stamping I’ve done, and shared which polishes worked, but a lot depends on what you’re stamping over top of. Thank you for checking out my blog and I wish you all happy polishing!

  2. I know how frustrating it is, I feel real lucky to have spotted them in the Winn Dixie. It makes me wonder if they have discontinued the two colors....I like the Konad special polishes too, but wanted something to use in place of them and had heard so many great things about these Sally Hansen Insta-Dri's I figured I'd keep looking. Hope you find them!
