This is one I’ve been waiting to try and since my DRK-A plate is not here yet or the new Konad M88 plate I am waiting on, I decided to put this one to the test. I really am surprised, I used the Nfu-Oh Aqua Base, let it dry and when I went to do the left hand the first one was bubbly and chunky! I freaked, and re-stroked it to get the mess OFF it which, lucky for me, worked out okay. I don’t know, but I am not as happy with the consistency of these two polishes. I’m not saying it’s their fault, but the polishes are different then the first one I picked up, Ultra Violet.
That one was fine, and thin, these other two, Retro Pink and Ocean Rush, seemed to be a bit evaporated and had some chunkiness to them, almost like a crackle polish does if you leave it open too long. Each seemed to me to be slightly evaporated, because the consistency was definitely different. I hope you like the photographs I took of this manicure, I was glad that things evened out with the second coat, and like I’ve worn in the past the top coat is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Clearly Quick.
I picked up a L.A. Colors French Manicure set today at Dollar General for $2.00 and when the M88 arrives I’ll be doing a review on it so I wanted to have the little stickers to use since I don’t have M19 I wanted something to help make a decent tip from. The set of two polishes comes with 20 stickers, although I don’t know if I’ll use the polishes, I want to use Whirlwind White for the French Tip part, and maybe Gothic Lolita for the main color, we’ll have to see what I feel like when the time comes.
In other news I created a facebook group called Nail Polish and Nail Care that you’re welcome to join, it’s meant to be a place to share tips and photographs of manicures and polishes and nail polishing news. I love the stamping group and the polish group I’m already in, but I wanted to make one that also centered on nail care. I hope you’ll join us! Thank you for supporting and reading my blog, I wish you all happy polishing.
